Biennial Meeting of the American Bach Society
Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio)
May 1-4, 2014

The American Bach Society invites  paper proposals for its upcoming meeting
to be held at Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio), May 1-4, 2014. The theme of
the meeting will be "Johann Sebastian Bach and his Sons." One of the focal
points will be the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Carl Philipp
Emanuel Bach's birth (1714-1788).
Papers focusing on the conference topic will be given preference but
submissions on any aspect of Bach studies will be considered.
Proposals (250 words) should be sent as an e-mail attachment by October 1,
2013, to the chair of the program committee: Markus Rathey
(markus.rathey at yale.edu). The committee's decisions will be announced by the
middle of November 2013.
