Minerva Project Announces $500,000 Prize For Innovation In Teaching

Awarding the Minerva Prize for Advancements in Higher Education, an annual prize designed to recognize extraordinary advancements in teaching excellence and impact.

The first Minerva Prize will be awarded in May 2014. The Academy will recognize and reward one distinguished educator who is driving innovation to deliver extraordinary student learning experiences for the 21st century.

The Minerva Prize winner will be inducted into the Minerva Academy, an honorary institution and forum for open exchange of new ideas and enhanced practices in higher education instruction. In addition, he or she will receive a cash prize of $500,000.
