The Knox College Music Department seeks a musicologist for a visiting appointment to teach four courses over two 10-week terms, beginning January 1, 2016. This is a 2/3 salaried position, with benefits. Teaching responsibilities will include three introductory history/music studies courses and an advanced history seminar course. The successful candidate must exhibit high quality, enlightened teaching skills, display intellectual clarity and energy, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning within the liberal arts environment. PhD preferred, ABD considered.
