CFP: AMS Capital and Southern Chapters, Univ. of Richmond, Oct 2015

The Capital Chapter (http://www.ams-net.org/chapters/capital) and the Southeast Chapter (http://www.ams-net.org/chapters/southeast) of the American Musicological Society are pleased to announce their joint fall meeting at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia on Friday afternoon October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2015.

We hereby invite submissions for papers to be delivered at the meeting.  Presentations will be limited to 20 minutes in length in order to allow 10 minutes for discussion.  Please send an abstract of no more than 250 words by the deadline of August 27, 2015.  Please include the proposal's title above the abstract text and indicate the author's name, mailing address, email address, phone number, institutional affiliation or place of residence at the top of the page. Indicate any audio-visual equipment needed at the bottom (following the abstract text).

We also invite proposals for poster presentations. These proposals should follow the same guidelines as those for individual papers.

We encourage student members to work with a faculty mentor in order to assure a paper of the highest quality. Student members of the Southeast Chapter can compete for the AMS Southeast Student Presentation Award.  Please review the full guidelines at
