CFP: Lyrica Society at AMS Louisville, November 2015

The Lyrica Society for Word-Music Relations invites submissions for its 2015 session at the Annual Meeting of the American Musicological Society in Louisville.  The session will be entitled Beethoven's Fidelio and the Congress of Vienna.  Papers addressing any aspect of the opera's social, political and human rights determinations as they relate words to text will be considered. Papers accepted may, after peer review, be published in the Society's annual journal, Ars Lyrica.
