FWPS: Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong:

Students seeking to study music in Asia (either in ethnomusicology, historical musicology, theory or composition) are invited to apply to the PhD program at the Music Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  Separate applications for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for 2014/15 should also be made.  These competitive fellowships provide generous support for the doctoral studies.

Stipend:  HK$20,000 a month (approx. US $2560.00) for 12 months each year plus travel funds of  up to HK $10,000 per year

Tenure:  maximum duration of 4 years during the student’s nominative period of doctoral studies
