We invite abstracts for Musicology at Kalamazoo. We intend the topics below as “hooks,” rather than limitations, on which a multitude of proposals can be placed. The deadline is September 15.

General Topic Areas: Chant & Liturgy, Music Theory and Practice, Music: Sound and Meaning, and Music Traditions: East & West.

Abstracts and “Participant Information Forms” (available at http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/submissions/index.html#PIF) must be received by 15 September 2013. The PIF is required by the Medieval Institute.
