Schragis Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The Department of Art & Music Histories, an interdisciplinary unit housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks to appoint a post-doctoral fellow specializing in American popular music. The Schragis Fellowship is a two-year appointment designed to give emerging scholars the opportunity to pursue their research while in residence at Syracuse University. The Schragis Fellow will teach one course during each semester of the fellowship, and will also give one public lecture on his/her current research topic(s) for each of the two years of the fellowship. A Ph.D. in musicology or related field by the appointment date is required, and the successful candidate will show the potential for a distinguished scholarly profile. Start date: August 2013.
