JOB: Florida State University, musicology (asst. professor)

Duties: Teach courses and seminars at undergraduate and graduate levels.  Direct graduate student research.  Lead the early music ensemble program.  Maintain scholarly activity appropriate for a faculty member at a major research institution.   Specific assignments to be determined by the skills and interests of the successful candidate and the needs of the College.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Musicology.  Teaching experience, record of research, and evidence for continuing research career.  Specialization in music before 1750.  Ability to direct early music ensemble program.  Interest and outstanding experience in teaching music to nonmusic majors highly desirable
