Assistant Professor of Music History and Literature
Assistant Professor of Music History and Literature - full-time, tenure track. Teach Music History and Literature. Principal responsibilities include: teaching courses in Western Art Music History for music majors (undergraduate and graduate) and teaching general education survey courses in Western Art Music History for non-majors. Expertise in the broad spectrum of American music is desirable. The successful candidate must show a strong commitment to teaching with proven skills at the college and/or university level, interest in interdisciplinary teaching, interest in curriculum development, and the ability to integrate technology in teaching. Review of completed digital dossiers and materials submitted in hard copy will begin on October 16, 2012 and continue until the position is filled.
