IUP Series Announcement: Music, Nature, Place

Indiana University Press is thrilled to announce the launch of its new series, Music, Nature, Place. The series, edited by Denise Von Glahn (Florida State University) and Sabine Feisst (Arizona State University) welcomes a broad range of topics and methodologies, including ecomusicology, ecology, cultural studies, and urban studies, focusing on the intersections of music, nature, and place.

This interdisciplinary series will feature studies that treat urban and rural issues and conditions, explore crossovers between science and the humanities, and traverse boundaries between art, popular, and folk musics. The series aims to explore different modes of thought enabled by music.
