CFP (journal articles): Twentieth-Century Music, special issue

twentieth-century music (ISSN 1478-5722), published by Cambridge University Press, is looking to supplement a planned issue of the journal (volume 9, 2012) with articles on

Twentieth-century opera and music theatre
Twentieth-century Italian concert and electronic music

Articles published in the journal are normally between 6,000 and 9,000 words and should be prepared according to the guidelines posted on the journal's page of the Cambridge Journals website (address below). Submissions will be peer-reviewed.

The deadline for this call for submissions is Friday 24 February 2012.

The journal continues to invite submissions on all aspects of music in the twentieth century and the early years of the twenty-first, including Western art music, non-Western music, popular music, film music, improvised music, and performance practice.
